Project Anti-Rabies, initiated by Sanrakshanam Go Va Pashu Seva Sanstha, is a multifaceted endeavor aimed at eradicating rabies in Jalgaon and surrounding areas. This critical project encompasses mass vaccination drives for stray and domestic animals, education and awareness campaigns, animal birth control and sterilization, and collaboration with local authorities and veterinary hospitals. Through door-to-door vaccinations, workshops, and distribution of educational materials, the project targets high-risk areas and vulnerable populations, providing free treatment and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) for bite victims. By partnering with national and international organizations, Project Anti-Rabies strives to achieve 100% vaccination coverage, reduce rabies incidence by 90%, and create a rabies-free zone in Jalgaon, ultimately ensuring a safer, healthier community for humans and animals.
